'Snow Cycle' is a relatively new and exciting music project from brothers Giampaolo and Stefano Scatozza. Original compositions bridging the boundaries of structured and improvised material was the initial process which has produced genuinely creative and unexpected 'new' sounds / music.
This diverse quintet hails from Italy; England; Norway and Canada. Each member has brought to the table not only a wealth of experience working with many of the greats (Bobo Stenson; Palle Danielson; Steve Coleman; Trevor Watts; Dez' Ree; Tom Jones; 'Ozibiza'; 'Groove Armada' to name a few) but a myriad of influences from jazz; drum & bass; experimental; folk; dance; ambient; new wave; traditional....
